In
Belgium, Halian has been providing a total resource management solution
to Sun Microsystems since 2003. Halian’s resource management team
situated onsite delivers an end-to-end resourcing solution that
supports Sun’s sales, presales, resourcing, and service delivery
activity.
A dedicated person provides high-level
support to the sales department to deliver timely resourcing solutions
for projects. Activities also include selling resourcing as part of the
projects, defining the resources needs, and helping to put together
‘Managed Services’ proposals for the clients.
Halian’s resource specialists carry out thorough interviews and
technically vet all potential candidates to ensure they have the
required skills. However, to ensure a good fit we also use personality
tests to make sure that the person could fit into the organisations
culture.
By offering the complete service, Halian deals with candidate
compliancy, contracts, and the day-to-day requirements of the people
working on clients’ sites. It also involves the longer-term concerns of
any contract to ensure service level agreements is met, and organising
meetings for candidates and clients to report on progress.
