Halian
has a well-established IT services and recruitment operation in
Luxembourg, founded over 7 years ago. The company plays a very active
role in supporting the Sun Microsystems business by providing highly
skilled information technology resources.
As a
strategic partner, the company actively supports Sun in their efforts
to win new business and further develop their services business by
recruiting, managing third party labour, and providing follow up and
reporting.
The focus is on delivering support of IT infrastructures, backup and
storage in Halian’s core technology competencies that include Sun
Microsystems, Oracle and Microsoft technologies.
As well as providing an in-house team of experts, Halian currently
manages over 50 employees and contract staff on behalf of Sun. These
resources are engaged to meet the various requirements for Sun’s
customers which include some of the major European institutions and
Financial services organisations in Luxembourg.
At Halian we focus on quality and only candidates that have passed a
careful vetting process, including technical screenings, are selected
for further consideration. Once selected Halian offers a professional
and all encompassing service that includes help during relocation,
finding accommodation, administrative support, and financial advice.
Halian ensures that all resourcing solutions offered meet with strict
compliancy rules and are appropriately billed and this extends to cover
resources provided by other partners when provided under the Halian
umbrella. This allows Sun to have a clear and uniformed view on all
third party labour activities.
